don't tell me what i can't do.

i've been sick again lately. it's been causing me to stay awake, which kinda sucks. however, life is good otherwise. sara slept over wednesday night. we went to 7-11 and i got a great deal on marlboro menthols (2 packs for $8.50). we went to the galleria for a bit, unsuccessfully searched for a flannel for me, and had taco bell for lunch. got back to my house, i did some laundry and we watched the soup and pineapple express. thursday we went to starbucks, nam son and then whatever. she got a second bellybutton piercing and i got my tragus done. it still is really sore, but i love how it looks. i watched the season premiere of lost and i think i finally understand it now. tomorrow's my first day of school. i'm excited, but nervous. i'm there from 9 to 4 with 2 breaks in between. hopefully, i'll catch up with everyone. i wish i could feel good and get some sleep because i really need it. i took a tylenol pm around 20 minutes ago and it hasn't done anything. oh well.

the greener!

the past two days have been AMAZING! i got to bowery at 2pm on monday. mad early. i spoke to the sound guy, who came out for a bogey every few min. he told me dall would be coming in for sound check at 4. conor came to try to meet dall. =] some other dude let us in because it was very cold and guess who was coming in after us?! dall with the band and leah. i gave dall the drawing and cookies and he remembered me. i had a nice conversation with leah. she's such a sweetheart. the guy told us we had to leave, so i went back outside. waited till the doors opened, another 3.5 hours. met some new people =] the show was sick. the opener, william elliot whitmore, was amazing! so was city and colour, of course! i had to leave early because i felt like i was going to pass out. got home at 1:30. yesterday, i got there around 3 and met up with sara and her friend rose. chris (from the day before) wound up going again and managed to buy a ticket. cassie (rose's girlfriend), paulina and her friend eleni came too. we were right up against the stage. it was awesome. after the show, we hung around outside. i saw leah and sara took a picture of us. dall came out a bit later, we took a bunch of pictures with him. i got a hug and we spoke for a bit. (pictures are up on myspace and facebook.) i can't wait to see alexis at warped. there was no uptown 6 service, but i still made the 1:20 and got home by 2:20. life is good at the moment.

today was pretty awesome. i didn't feel good this morning and was up all night, but meh. i got some drawing done. i'm drawing a picture of dallas and leah as a wedding present to give him at one of the shows. today i went with ali and conor to see milk. it was amazing! sean penn and james franco making out was interesting. conor left and ali and i went to the shabu shabu place. it was awesome, but they didn't have the vietnamese coffee. before going home, we went to bath and body works and i got the stuff that josie told me about. it was a pretty good day =]
